A BIT ABOUT THERAPY
I implement evidenced-based psychotherapy methods that help increase
client's self-awareness and awareness of their environment. I use Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) techniques to promote new and effective ways of managing difficult situations that help individuals move closer towards their long-term goals.
I can also offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to treat trauma-related symptoms.
A DBT and Trauma Therapist Who Understands
When I was young I knew I wanted to be a psychologist. I fell in love with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and decided to take that path. As a registered psychologist, I specialize in treating individuals who experience symptoms related to borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, addictions, and trauma related symptoms. Additionally, I work with individuals who want to improve their relationships, their ways of coping with stressful events, and their overall well-being.
With over 12 years of experience, I have provided both individual therapy and skills group training to adults with mild to severe mental health issues.
